So, today was an absolutely awful day for me. I'm currently on holiday in Italy and speak the language reasonably well, so I can manage everyday life. Anyway, tonight at dinner in the hotel, I told the waitress I wanted my dish without (tomato) sauce (I'm autistic and therefore can only eat a few things. For example, I can't tolerate any kind of sauce). The waitress comes with a grin on his face and brings me my schnitzel with sauce! That idiot thought I wanted a different sauce?! I tried it and, of course, I threw up. The other guests stared and made stupid comments/laughed. I could actually sue the place, but I won't. All the other special needs people are treated like gods (often, I know they sometimes get bad service too), but it's okay to make fun of autistic people, right? If I had Serena as my chef, something like this wouldn't happen to me. ♥️💙
