xyz fillers

something i think isnt talked abt a lot is HOW INCREDIBLY GOOD THE XYZ FILLER EPISODES ARE.

now. i understand the hate for fillers sometimes. i get js wanting to focus on plot. but also its so nice to js turn on an episode and be amused. and xy ate that up. like i’ve never watched a season of pokemon with better filler episodes then xy.

they are so so soooo fire. like that pikachu episode where they used pikachu to shoot a movie. or the hawlucha one where hawlucha is in a theatrical performance. then there’s obviously the one where ash gets sick and serena battles as him. a classic.

my fav is either the mirror world one or the gadget one where clemont makes them go to that the gadget amusement park thing. ya know? that one’s so funny.

idk. i js feel like compared to every other season of pokemon xyz js had the best fillers. that and sun and moon. i do love a good sun and moon filler.

but yeah i js needed to glaze xy a bit more lmao.

So about the Teraleaks stuff…

I know,I know I also can’t believe either that Im bring this up in the big 26,but I’ve been going down this rabbit hole finding more information about the teraleaks and it turns out that the stuff revolving around the supposed harassment around Serena’s return seemed to be unverified or at the very least questionable…

Now to be clear I don’t have any definitive proof that this document was fake,but there does seem to be some shit that don’t add up.

For one,this supposed translated document seemingly has no original version. Usually when you see translations like this I would assume there would be some sort of original untranslated version of it and the fact the document has no source to an untranslated version is kinda weird. From what I could find there seems to be no trace of this specific conversation besides the translated document itself.

In the past when these rumors first started coming to light,people even on this sub also noticed things that seem to make the document seem less credible. Things like the supposed tension between ash and pikachu’s Japanese VA’s,which Rica Matsumoto denied herself.
Or the fact that the document uses Ash’s English dub name instead of just his Japanese name.

To me, some of this doesn’t really add up. Whether or not yajima actually received death threats from the return episode is one thing,but my problem is that I can’t fully say that this can be traced back to a credible verifiable source. As far as I can tell all this really goes back to the same document that again,has no untranslated version that is available to fact check which makes it kinda iffy.

Now again I’m not saying these are 100% faked,but I think this unverified document making its way into the discourse and plenty of people(myself included) seemed to have been kinda tricked into thinking its a credible source which has contributed to some potential misinformation regarding Serena and or amourshipping.

So look bottom line is that this document seems to lack credible verification and until we get true confirmation from actual credible sources,this idea that amourshippers were harassing yajima after Serena returned and that’s the reason the ship was not fully realized is a claim that should be met with some level of skepticism at least.

If you have anymore information about this stuff feel free to link more info as I’ve been to trying to track the original Japanese version but have come to several dead ends…

Frame by Frame goodness.

I was scrolling through my saved posts here on Reddit and when I came across one that had a short video of the moment when Ash is sick and falls into Serena’s arms, it stopped loading at just the right spot to display a great frame.

Said frame being on display as the image attached to this post. Take a look at Ash’s lips. They are curled in just the right way to make it seem like Ash is stuttering in nervousness trying to voice a love confession to Serena.

Obviously that’s not actually what’s happening here, but this still makes for a fun screenshot to think of that sort of headcanon with.

I think her heart would leap out of her chest. Of course, it's all meant to be child-friendly, but we may not forget that Serena is just a (fictional) person like Ash, who also has feelings like us real people. She's just hopelessly in love with this dense nut, and a sight like that would knock her off her feet. What do you think?💙♥️
