How to fix the ghosting effect in Alan Wake 2?

So using DLSS with frame gen (2X) seems to cause massive ghosting effects. This is very noticeable once get control of the naked guy at the shore. Panning the camera around quickly left or right creates these massive trail which feels like the monitor is struggling to keep up. This is really bad when you look towards the shore line. Switching to FSR or turning off frame gen removes this issue but the framrate takes a massive hit when you get to the next scene with agent Saga. So in order to take advantage of the gorgeous effects frame gen is necessary for my 4080 M since its now as powerful as the desktop counter part.

This is the first time I actually had to deal with this issue. If the other games had it, it wasn't noticeable enough to care but firing up this game, its glaring obvious where I had to start looking for solutions. Unfortunately this being an Epic exclusive there is very little exposure and even less discussion about the issues. There are a few threads I found some suggesting using DLSStweak app to enable auto exposure and set to preset C or tweak the .ini file to disable the lens distortion but none of these help and there hasn't been any follow through. I don't think the DLSStweak app actually has an effect since I force enabled the HUD display on it to show the resolution targets but nothing is displayed although I believe I have done everything correctly. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
