im (30F) moving to the area at the end of the month with my husband and have been looking online for apartments. I am used to being near or living in a city like environment. Ive found apartments near the river-ish on the south carolina side, as well as near national court/windsor hills areas. Hows living on that side of town? Also been looking into Evans as well, but feels far away from things. Wanting to live in a luxury community with amenities, away from college kids if possible. Open to any and all recommendations, thanks!

I will be moving to the area later this year and am wondering where are some good ceramic studios in the area? Ones that offer clay throwing, classes, glazes, kiln firing, etc.? Goal is to have my own home studio but in the mean time want to keep creating & build community in a new city. Thanks!

I had this happen recently and it felt like such an outer body experience. Looked around the table at a dinner with “friends” and realized the person I am here isn’t 1) well received, 2) acknowledged, or 3) a version i actually like. I am just so over being in spaces where I feel like I have to perform, noticing conversations end when I speak or people making eye contact with others during conversations im participating in. Overthinking my interactions after hang outs isnt a reflection of me being “weird” but really things just not being a good fit. I am finding myself in a place where anything that doesn’t boost who I want to be can go. However i fear the loneliness or isolation that may come from it. Such a deep yet hard to grasp realization im having, many of my relationships dont feel as authentic as i originally thought. Has anyone been through something similar? How have you navigated it?

How reliable is the bus? I see on google maps to take linea 101 for 1hr to get there, however worried about making it back. Has anyone taken the bus to this area before successfully? Dont want to get stuck so far away, thanks!
