Last year, a man was arrested for riding an e-bike on the Joliet Junction Trail in Joliet, Illinois. Reportedly, he went to jail and his e-bike was impounded. Unfortunately, that clearly shows that e-bikes, all 3 classes, are totally prohibited on the Joliet Junction Trail in Joliet, Il. Only regular analog bicycles are permitted on the trail. There also is a radar enforced speed limit of 8 mph on the Joliet Junction Trail and a zero tolerance policy for speeding, if you get caught doing even 9 mph on the Joliet Junction Trail, you will get stopped and cited.
