Help my cat is very sick
Hi I’m in desperate need of answers I made the terrible mistake of putting flea control medicine on my cat by accident, hoping to help her with fleas not knowing it toxicity to her, I’m devastated I noticed her growling at us after about couple of hours and notice she didn’t want to eat so I immediately took her a bath and took her to the vet, she was not drooling or having seizures just pretty upset if we touched her, the vet kept her one night and said the y would start Iv fluids they gave muscle relaxers Benadryl and allowed us to bring her home after they saw improvement in her they gave us muscle relaxers to take home and advices to give Benadryl at home as well the problem is she walking wobbly and reacts as if she’s hallucinating and if we try to pick her she immediately meows as if it’s hurting her please someone help has this ever happened to anyone or can anyone give me some advice my daughter is so heartbroken I feel like the worse pet owner/parent how could this happen to my family
