RTX 5080 Gigabyte Aero: Third fan not spinning at 65°C. Could the case's anti-sag bracket be the issue?
I'm having an issue with my new Gigabyte RTX 5080 Aero. The first two fans spin normally under load, but the third one (far right) remains completely still, even when the GPU reaches 65°C.
I've tried setting a manual 100% fan curve in software, but the third fan won't trigger. I am using the built-in anti-sag bracket that came with my case to support the card.
Details:
- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5080 Aero.
- Support: Case-integrated anti-sag bracket (not the Gigabyte one).
- Temps: Issue persists past 67°C.
- Troubleshooting: Software manual override (100% speed) does nothing for the 3rd fan.
Is it possible that the bracket is putting uneven pressure on the GPU shroud, physically preventing the third fan from starting? Or could this be a faulty fan/internal cable connection?
