Google Business Profile merged with old listing showing outdated photos and reviews
Hello everyone,
We are currently facing an issue with our Google Business Profile and would appreciate your guidance.
We recently relocated our institution to Ajman in September 2025. After the move, we created a new Google Business Profile using our new google email, as per Ministry requirements, which do not allow us to display any content related to our previous location.
We also had an older profile linked to a different email, which we intended to remove completely.
However, instead of deleting the old profile, Google merged both profiles. As a result, our current listing now shows:
- Photos from our previous location
- Reviews posted before September 2025
- Content that is no longer relevant to our current campus
This is creating compliance issues for us, as we are not allowed to display any content from our previous facility.
What we need help with:
- Remove all photos and content related to the old location.
- Separate or undo the merge between the old and new profiles (if possible).
- Ensure only the current Ajman campus information is displayed
We have already tried contacting Google support but Google is only sending us automated responses from last 2 months. We tried to post in Google forum and it was automatically marked as duplicate and closed.
We are also considering to use legal channels as this is seriously a Ministerial compliance issue for us because of Google.
Any guidance or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated.
