Gaugemaster Infinity Startup Issue

Hi all,

We've recently switched DCC Control from the Prodigy Advance 2 to the Infinity Digital and there's an odd issue occurring when the wireless handset is switched on.

When the handset is switched on a few locos will start making the "overload buzz" and will continue to do so until all the loco's in question are either removed from the track or it's left long enough to occasionally resolve itself.

While it's doing this nothing else on the layout is responsive. The main box doesn't show a red light and the handset doesn't flash max power, which suggests this isn't an overload issue.

Initially I thought that this was related to the few loco's with a stay alive, but this isn't the case as some without them start buzzing too. When the loco's are put on the track after powering the handset on they're fine.

I checked CV29 to ensure DC operation was off in case that was the issue but no luck.

So far it hasn't done any damage and once it stops one way or the other everything's fine. This was never an issue with the Advance and has only started when we switched over to the Infinity.

Anyone had the same issue or have any ideas what else could be causing it?

I've attached a video of this happening. With this loco a slight tilt is enough to stop it as long as nothing else is doing it, most others need to be lifted off completely.

Cheers!
