I am wondering if anyone knows this answer, as I have never taken a withdrawal yet. I may have to get a root canal done and because it’s still fairly new in and year, I haven’t met the deductible of $2,500 yet for our dental insurance. I’m seeing that some root canals can be like 3k!! I can’t afford that and I saw on vanguard you can do a withdrawal for dental… but it seems like you have to know the exact amount? (I’m assuming) and or that you actually have to pay it up front and then request a withdrawal for a reimbursement? Has anyone ever had to do this and or knows more about it?
