Hi everybody!

My first ever total repair and CLA of an Olympus OM-1 MD is nearly complete.
Everything is running smoothly, times are well within parameters, every part is that should be lubricated is (everything else isn't :-)
but...

The lightmeter overexposes for 1-2 stops.

My first thought was the battery (using 675A in an adapter ring WITHOUT a diode), but that should lead to underexposure rather than over...?!?

I calibrated the lightmeter using the ASA1600, F/8, B setting.

Here the needle is exactly in the middle. After noticing the overexposure I read some more articles and some people suggested to use ASA100, F/1.8, B instead... here the needle clearly indicates an underexposure by 1 1/2 stops (which is consitstent with the overexposure I am getting)

Does anyone know why there are two different "mechanical Zero" settings which differ???

additional information:
Used 50mm, auto-s 1.8 lens
Camera was completely disassembled and rebuild by using two OM-1 MD which both were a total wreck (one being stored in a cellar and the other dropped from considerable height)
