$5.99 Evening Restaurant Bag from IKEA in Norfolk, Virginia

First box is a rather random assemblage of overcooked pasta in tomato sauce, with fried plantains on top, and a pile of fried fish nuggets on the side. I didn't even know IKEA had plantains. Second box is meatballs, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, and they thoughtfully gave me a little container of lingonberry jam to go with it. Third box is a slice of Swedish apple cake and a slice of cheesecake.

Two $9.99 prepared foods bags from Whole Foods in Newport News, Virginia

First bag contained a Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich, Roasted Turkey Cobb Salad and Chana Masala with Basmati Lemon Rice, Second bag contained Chicken Strips, Baja Salmon Salad and a Chicken Artichoke Pesto Sandwich.

Was kind of hoping for more of the microwavable prepared meals like I'd tended to get in the past since they generally freeze well and are good for those days when I'm too tired to cook, but this isn't bad at all. I especially appreciate the salads, which I had for dinner last night and lunch today. I'm trying an experiment with the sandwiches this time and putting them in Ziploc baggies and freezing them, since there's few or no fresh vegetables in them I'm thinking they might reheat okay later in the toaster oven. We shall see...
