Managed to beat the first "Shiren the Wanderer" game

This game is from "Shiren the Wanderer", a roguelike game for Super Famicom released in 1995.

I swear this game is hard but I kept continuing playing it because it has beautiful graphics and the controls are simple to understand. It took me more than 150 times to play before reaching the Golden City, beat the final boss and saved the Golden Condor. The ending was worth it. It's a relief to see the Golden Condor being huge and flying freely. I admit it's a good game despite I experienced disappointment many times from failure, mostly for not thinking to use some items first that would help me survive.

Is there anyone here tried playing this and finished it to the last dungeon? What do you think about this game?

I wish my brother would do something helpful instead of playing games on his smartphone.

I have a younger brother (M32) who is addicted in playing online games on smartphones for many years. He is always awake at night to play it until mornings where he sleeps in that time. He doesn't have a job and friends for several years, he never finished college despite being smart and he doesn't always do household chores. He used to work before but he quit and refused to find another job because he was bullied by some of his workmates before. He eats last and late or sometimes skips meals. His body is thin to the point he looked like he's from prison camp. My mother scolded him from that habit while my father gently advises him to do something to improve his life but my brother gets angry, makes excuses or ignores them. The worst thing he did to them is that he stole money to buy smartphone without permission. The smartphone he bought from the stolen money is ruined due to overheating from playing online games too much and now he borrows my mother's smartphone as temporarily replacement. To be fair, all of the smartphones he have for the past several years don't work anymore because of his gaming addiction. My mother is angry at him complaining he relied on her money in fixing his smartphone. I am frustrated at him because of those problems and I admit I wish he would go away to do something to at least improve himself instead of wasting his life playing games too much. Even if I ignore him, his presence becomes a burden to me and my family for long. I know he's the only person who can change his habit but it's tiring and he seems gets worse. Giving advice to him isn't convincing enough and I cannot tell when he will change his mind. I'm tired doing work and taking care of my parents while he is staying on his bed playing games all day long everyday. I'm sorry I am frustrated at my brother and I still never forgive him for robbing money for himself but it's difficult to have a close relative who suffers from addiction.

"Jane Eyre" 1963 version Episodes 2 and 3

The long lost episodes 2 and 3 of "Jane Eyre" 1963 version are available to watch for free!

The adaptation starred Ann Bell as Jane and Richard Leech as Mr. Rochester. It was produced by the BBC in the early 60's. Its master tapes have been wiped out by the BBC themselves along with many of their other old programmes, mostly to save space and money. The episodes 1, 4, 5 and 6 have survived. The Episodes 2 and 3 which are believed to missing were found in a film archive at Hungary last year. The episodes can be watched on Youtube.
