My bf and I are moving in together and everyone is saying it is fast
Hi guys! For context I (25f) met my bf (25m) a little over a year a half ago. And by the time we move in we would have been dating over a year. We were in person for 3 months and then he went to Europe for 6 months. We’ve still been long distance (10 hour drive- 2 hour flight) and I go to his for 2 weeks every 2 weeks. So 2 weeks at his then 2 weeks at mine and so on. My lease ends in August (so ab 3 more months of long distance) and we had mentioned ab moving in together. We don’t want to do another year of distance and in a perfect world we would like to have an additional 3-4 more months but it’s such a hassle might as well move in. And honestly would an extra 3-4 more months even make a difference? The thing is that we had all our “getting to know each other deeply” over text. So we know each other and we’re very comfortable w each other just not 100% maybe like 85% in person. And I think moving in would fix that last bit. Apparently our friends r saying that it’s early and they’re surprised. Idek. Given the situation I think it makes sense. In person we normally wouldn’t move in but we’re tired of seeing each other then leave for 2 weeks and then it’s like oh. Hey! I guess my question is. Is what we’re doing crazy? Is it too early? Should we not move in together? Should I get my own place there but then what a waste of money. Do I stay w my sister for a little bit then what is that going to do?
