Princeton waitlist has started moving
OMG, just saw someone on fb got off waitlist on May 15. I’m low-key panicking over the movement. It’s so torture. I know checking these updates isn’t doing me any good, but I just can’t stop myself…

I got waitlisted at Princeton, Penn, and Brown, and I’ve already committed to LSE, but I’ve been holding out hope for getting off the waitlist.
I just don’t get it. If I were an AO, as soon as I had all the yield numbers and class data on May 1, I could start going through the waitlist pool and picking the students I need. Honestly, that process shouldn’t take more than a week. So what’s taking so long? And for international students, it’s even worse, gotta deal with visas, paperwork, all kinds of extra deadlines… It honestly feels like the schools are just shrugging and saying, “Eh… we’ll get to it eventually.” It’s kind of irresponsible
