I hate when Big Pharma uses actual songs in their commercials
It is actually the laziest thing ever. They find a song that has lyrics sounding vaguely similar to their drug name and then they just change the words to that drug name.
Not to mention the fact that every time I hear these songs now, they’re completely ruined because I get a goddamn flashback to these stupid commercials. They pay so much money in order to get the rights to actually use the song so they plaster it absolutely everywhere to get their money’s worth. I genuinely cannot hear “Magic” without hearing”Oh-Oh-Oh-Ozempic!”.
Big Pharma if you’re reading this you do much worse things to so many people around the world but you’ve made my life slightly more annoying so screw you.
