Cool sighting while riding my bike tonight. I almost ran over it. It was about 8” long. I was able to slowly coerce it off the road to safety. I believe we only have prairie rattlesnakes in this area, but correct me if I’m wrong.
I found it interesting to see which venues will be used etc.
Saw this while on a bike ride. I’m guessing the prairie dog was protecting its young?
I saw this snake while hiking on the Byzantine Road on Paros yesterday. It looked to be about 4 feet long and quite thick. I can’t seem to identify it on the Internet. Of the snakes supposed to be on this island, it seems like maybe it is a Whip Snake, but I can’t find any pictures of Whip Snakes that look similar. Thanks for any help!
