Hello, my friend is sick but expected to make a full recovery within 2 weeks. Two needs have come up:

She has a lab puppy with health issue (zero behavioral issues, able to be in a crate happily for 8 hours, vet approved to crate for that time for this season too.) Happiest and cleanest puppy I’ve ever met. She needs a place for the pup and is falling through every crack. Boarding facilities not an option due to the medical condition. Pup needs a temp private home for 2 weeks. Any suggestions how we find someone who can help? Not sure where to turn. He’s on a temp hold at the shelter and need a place for him to go within 48 hours or she looses her pup.

There was a flood in her place and we need to move everything out Sunday into a moving van in the parking lot
and back in Monday night while the replacement the flooring. Her savings are going to medical bills and she’s on the edge of running out of funds. Very small place but we need 3-4 people to help. Desperate need. Tried a few churches and they had no one to help.

I’m not sure where else to turn to find help.

Any suggestions where to reach out? It’s been a string of bad luck and deserved this chance to keep her home and her pup while she recovers.

I’m currently phoenix area and I have lived here for 12 years. I wasn’t really planning on moving anywhere near Colorado, but it is a pretty good opportunity. Trying to understand things I should look out for or consider.

Any insight on 2026 Louisville's Ballot Questions 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G ,2H? Perhaps a forum for explanation or discussion?

Partner and I are looking to leave the main metro area for either Louisville or Littleton. We lived in Mayfair/Montclair for about 3 years and Park Hill for 7 years. We now have a 3 year old and 1 year old.

We want a little bit more room, less congestion, and closer proximity to the mountains.

We’ve spent a lot of time exploring different suburbs/surrounding areas to find what we think will fit our needs and what we are looking for.

Towns/communities we have really enjoyed are Louisville and Littleton (specifically need the old town downtown). We love that they both have adorable town squares. Both feel very family oriented. While Louisville has closer proximity to the mountains and Boulder Valley School District, we have lots of friends in the Littleton area and we feel we can get more bang for our buck as far as homes go.

Would love input on these specifics areas. Both pros and cons. Things maybe we haven’t considered since we don’t live in these communities. We don’t want recommendations on other communities as we’ve already eliminated them for our own reasons.

TLDR- help my partner and I make sure we are considering everything before deciding between Louisville and Littleton (specifically near old town).
