The best-drawn panels in Two Blue Vortex.

People often say that Ikemoto draws his panels without any detail, but the two panels I just selected were actually very detailed and really well drawn. The expressions were handled perfectly, and the composition of the first panel was especially well done, just like the others I selected. The shading is also very present.

Overall, Ikemoto was absolutely on fire 🔥 when he drew these panels. I hope he gives us a similar level of art quality for the Hidari arc and the Jura arc.

I don’t know why, but this scene makes me laugh every single time 😂

Bro puts his head inside the cube like it’s completely normal 😭

Who do you think will be on the cover of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Volume 8 ?

Personally, I think it could be Jura. Mamushi would be possible too, or maybe even Inojin. There are quite a few possibilities, but I’d prefer it to be Jura since he’s one of my favorite characters in Boruto right now.

Unpopular opinion: Mitsuki is the most overrated character in Boruto.

In the manga, the guy has barely done anything. Aside from talking about his whole sun and moon philosophy, he hardly does anything and has very little character development. He hasn’t won a single fight on his own, his Sage Mode has become repetitive and useless against the current threats (Ryu literally humiliated him), and he has absolutely NO personal goal.

Kawaki has clearly replaced Mitsuki. Ever since Kawaki showed up, when people talk about Team 7, they immediately think of Boruto, Sarada, and Kawaki.

He also hasn’t received a power-up in forever. But despite everything I just said, I still don’t understand why people keep glorifying him. Anyway, outside of the anime — because I’m specifically talking about the manga here — he’s probably the most overrated character in Boruto.

Here’s why we don’t see Kakashi in Boruto anymore (the explanation is actually pretty simple)

Dude, it’s literally stated at the end of Naruto. Kakashi retired and started traveling around the world with Guy. How would he even know the full story about the Human Shinju when the whole thing is being kept secret? The Human Shinju are still a completely new species that almost nobody knows about. Recently they finally made themselves known in Konoha with Mamushi, but Kakashi simply isn’t in Konoha because he’s traveling.

Also, retirement is supposed to mean something. Kakashi finally found peace and serenity. His character development is complete. Bringing him back into the story would have no real purpose other than spreading butter on top of butter. Some people still want to ignore the fact that he’s retired, but honestly I think it’s a good thing. Kakashi already played his role as a ninja for a very long time — now he’s just no longer involved in these events, and he doesn’t know the full story behind the Human Shinju. It’s really that simple.

I’d rather see new character development than bring back Kakashi again when he’s already one of the most developed characters in the series. A lot of people are acting out of nostalgia or just misunderstanding the situation, even though the explanations were made pretty clear.

I’d also add that the manga is monthly, so Ikemoto can’t afford to drag things out too much or keep adding a ton of characters.

Everyone misunderstands Momoshiki’s power.

No, Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki did not see the future perfectly. The scene with Kawaki never actually happened — the moment where Kawaki activates his Kāma with the horn never occurs.

An interesting detail about the cover of volume 5 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

I noticed an interesting detail on the cover of volume 5 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. We can see all the Shinju looking at the book that Jura is holding in his hand… all of them except ONE: Hidari.

Hidari is the only one not looking at the book, and I think Ikemoto is probably trying to tell us something through this detail.

Could it be to show that Hidari is actually an outsider among the Shinju? Or maybe to imply that Hidari isn’t interested in discovering the world because he already understands it somehow?

I’m not exactly sure what it means, but I definitely feel like Ikemoto is hinting at something here. What do you guys think?

Has Boruto become a romance mang*?

Do you think Boruto has become a romance manga, kind of like a mix between shonen and romance similar to Dandadan? Love is currently the main theme of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, and the author has introduced a lot of romantic relationships. It’s much more present than it was in Naruto, so has Boruto basically become a sort of romance manga?

Regarding the spoilers for chapter 34.

I have a serious concern about spoilers on this sub, and it’s becoming a big issue. I’m talking about spoilers for the new chapters that come out, more specifically chapter 33 and the upcoming chapter 34.

I know the point of leaks is that people will see them, but I’m tired of people reading chapters illegally 4 days before release. That’s literally what happened with chapter 33, and the worst part is that people still talked about it on this sub 4 days before the official release.

Of course, I got spoiled and it completely ruined the surprise of Inojin’s sacrifice and Code’s return. The problem is that people are not allowed to put spoilers in titles and are supposed to use spoiler tags, but the issue is that we can’t tell if it’s about a new chapter or not since the “manga spoiler” tag is used for all chapters. The titles for chapter 33 posts were also very vague, so it was impossible to know what they were about. As a result, a lot of people I know who read Boruto also got spoiled, and it’s really frustrating.

It ends up dividing the community because not everyone reads at the same time. It would be much better if the whole community waited for the official release so we could all read and discuss the chapter together. Since we only get one chapter per month, each chapter is very valuable, so getting spoiled and then having to wait another month only to get spoiled again is really frustrating.

Reading chapters illegally doesn’t help the authors or the publisher. By reading on Manga Plus, you support Shueisha and the author.

To conclude, yes spoilers exist in almost every community, but that doesn’t mean we should normalize reading leaks illegally. In any case, you’re not even supposed to discuss chapters that are not officially released. It’s disrespectful to readers who wait for the official release like I do.

So please, let’s all read at the same time and avoid dividing the community. Chapter 34 is coming soon. You’re allowed to talk about official leaks posted on the official Naruto website, but please do not discuss what happens in chapter 34 before its official release.

Shino is much stronger than Isshiki.

Already, Shino uses insects, and insects are living beings, so they cannot be reduced by Sukunahikona. Shino has a large number of insects, and he could simply send one into Isshiki’s ear, allowing it to destroy him from the inside, since Isshiki would be unable to regenerate.

Isshiki’s rods would also be useless, because Shino could intercept them with his insects. Even if Shino doesn’t have extreme sensory abilities himself, he has hundreds of insects that can react instantly and that he can control, which would be enough to deal with both the rods and the cubes.

Fans may not want to accept it, but Shino is clearly much stronger than Isshiki.

(Spoiler )Shikadai is much stronger than Jur*.

Shikadai is much stronger than Jura. Jura can only send plants, but Shikadai can immobilize those plants with his Shadow Possession Jutsu, so Jura’s plants are basically useless. On top of that, Shikadai is far more intelligent than Jura, so it’s obvious that Shikadai would win in a battle of IQ. I’d also like to add that even though Jura can regenerate, that regeneration is useless because Shikadai can use his shadow techniques to immobilize him, just like he did to Mamushi. After that, Shikadai could completely finish Jura off.

Even if Jura can use Bijūdama, it’s useless because… The bigger the Bijūdama is, the bigger the shadow it casts. So Shikadai would use that massive shadow to capture the Bijūdama itself, then redirect it back at Jura to deal damage to him.

(Spoiler) What does that mean?

In the promotional video for Boruto released on May 9, we see Momoshiki holding a sphere in which he sees his reflection. What does that mean? Momoshiki doesn’t have a sphere as far as I know, so why does he have it? Is it a teaser to show something?

The tragic death of …

Listen to me, I think Nishi is going to die. It’ll be the biggest death in the entire series. Nishi isn’t just a jonin, he’s an innocent man who’s been around for a long time while staying in the background. His death would make the story extremely tragic. Nishi could have a death comparable to Jiraiya’s. Anyway, I love Nishi, and I think his death would be the biggest twist in the manga.

Here’s a compilation of moments where Boruto is not “stoic.”

To everyone who says Boruto is always “stoic” and never shows any other expressions or moments of vulnerability, this post is for you. Here’s a compilation I made—I could even show you more images.
