How to tell my (F22) partner (M22) he’s not doing enough?
I F-22 have a wonderful boyfriend M-22. He is very kind and he clearly cares about me so much. We’ve been dating for about a year and it’s been great until about a month ago. I am a very hard worker and I have a lot of responsibilities. He is understanding that I have a lot on my plate and doesn’t ever complain about my absence. But sometimes it feels like he only lives for me. He has no drive to do anything. He’s incredibly lazy and doesn’t do anything to benefit himself, only for me. I know it sounds selfish, but I need someone who has the same drive I do. Who is willing to get up and do the work that needs to be done in order to be successful. I just want to know how to tell him this without making him feel undervalued or unappreciated. Do you think he can change to want to better himself or will he stay complacent forever?
