DWM constantly at 1GB+ memory usage
My DWM.exe has been idling at 1GB+ every time I open my Helium browser. I have tried Firefox, Edge, Brave and Opera. They all result in the same thing. I am on Windows 11 Home, with a Ryzen 9 6900HX, 16GB DDR5 5500MHz memory, a NVIDIA 3050 mobile GPU. The OS build number is 26200.8037.
I have asked Claude for help and followed its steps including:
Updating drivers, disabling hardware acceleration, adding/disabled from flags in helium://flags, I uploaded the report from helium://gpu as well. It seems to only happen when my browser is open, and I only have like 5-7 tabs open at one time.
I checked in Resource Monitor, the Private and Working Set memory sizes are almost the same. Most of my UI animations are disabled.
Does anyone know what my next steps should be? Or how to fix this?
