Question for those sharing AI-assisted music publicly
I’m genuinely curious how others are handling this.
Do you mention it clearly in your captions/descriptions/bios?
Do you only disclose it if someone asks?
Do you avoid mentioning it because you worry people won’t give the song a fair chance?
Or do you feel like disclosure isn’t necessary?
In my own case, I’ve actually built a pretty solid following while being upfront about AI use, so I’m curious how others are approaching it.
I’ve chosen to be transparent because the stories, records, people, and history behind my songs are real — and I want listeners to understand how the music is made.
No judgment either way. I’m just interested in how other creators are thinking through transparency, audience trust, and the changing expectations around AI music.
