Don’t try to mess with fellow Struthi when Meeps is around.
This was their second pass, so I was prepared for it and kicked in the replay record in advance and finally got a nice shot of a killing blow doing this. They were at 35% health or so before their dive. You can Really take a chunk off their health hitting them in the air.
I have Finally gotten around to making a new nest for Meeps.
Used to nest in Impact Crater on a pile of Trophies. Have never gotten around to setting a new one up after the gutted that place. Finally built a new one though, this time with a little more artistic license. May adjust the skeleton some more. Take the tail off since the colors don’t match.
Megs got a lil’ too cocky.
Those Megs had been chasing me around earlier as well, so I was surprised they just let me watch and didn’t take shots at me as well. I was waiting for one of them to get complacent and lie down after taking a couple hits, but it didn’t come to that.
…yoink.
Meeps’ cunning scheme overlooked one teensy detail…
It was worth the try and I regret nothing, though! Mira Thagomizers are the second rarest Trophy at the moment behind the mythical Eurhino Tail. Not sure those unicorns even exist anymore.

Here’s how I would buff Struth.
Move Kick to a free slot all Struthi have. Delete Kick Barrage.
-Kick is perfectly fine as is. Kick Barrage has either been busted OP or nigh useless since it came out and it’s super clunky to use.
In the Head Slot alongside the current On Alert, add options for Air Head and Peck Barrage. Pick one.
-On Alert is a great tool for survivability or helping out a team. MAYBE buff it to also detect Flying and Swimming players. Peck Barrage gives you access to a second attack without the clunky movement of Kick Barrage and without locking you into just one of them. Alternatively Air Head just makes your Kicks stronger, but at the cost of Stamina.
In the Legs Slot alongside Long Distance Runner, Braced Legs, and Leap, add options for Dash, Juke, and Dodge. Pick two.
-Movement shenanigans! Two slots because movement tech should be Struth’s thing as the running dinosaur. Have more of the passives you had before, or choose some active use abilities that’ll drain your Stamina quicker but give you more skill expression.
Other than the extra Leg Slot, this tries to avoid giving anything for free or flat stat buffing and instead offers trades and more build options.
They updated the last patch’s notes with Dev Comments for a bit more context/reasoning.
## Balance Updates (Server Side Hotpatch)
This change will affect all servers after they restart, including both official and community, unless there is a custom curve override that changes these values.
Servers can take hours to restart so it will be a while before you see these changes in-game.
**Megalania:**
- Increased Ground Lunging Snap Stamina Cost to 8 (from 4)
**Dev Note:** We have increased the stamina cost of Lunging Snap on land to try and ensure this attack isn't used too often as a chasing tool. We will be continuing to monitor Megalania feedback for future adjustments in the next patch.
**Anodontosaurus:**
- Adjusted Food/Water Consumption Rate to be faster
- Decreased Max Hunger/Thirst to 600 (from 800)
- Rebalanced Food/Water Drain Values to work with updated new Max Hunger and Thirst
- Adjusted AoE Damage Falloff to be closer to what it was pre patch
- Cruel Swipe Scaling Adjustments to Anodontosaurus
- This should result in larger damage values versus smaller dinosaurs and smaller against larger dinosaurs
**Dev Note:** We have adjusted Anodontosaurus' food and water values to make it less frustrating to play due to its slower base speed. Additionally, we have adjusted the Cruel Swipe Scaling to be less punishing towards larger dinosaurs and harder hitting against smaller ones. While it will still continue to function where it deals more damage to larger creatures opposed to smaller ones, it will not be as extreme. This change will also be bought to Achillobator in a future patch alongside other Anodontosaurus adjustments.
**Eotriceratops:**
- Headslam now uses Growth Scaling
**Dev Note:** Eotrike is no longer a pocket nuke at smaller growth stages. We will be making Eotriceratops' AP perform better into smaller dinosaurs in the next upcoming major patch.
**Hatzegopteryx:**
- Decreased Max Health to 550 (from 600)
- Increased Peck Cooldown to 2 seconds (from 1.5)
- Decreased Peck Stamina Regen Over Time to 1 (from 2)
- Increased Peck Stamina Regen Duration to 10 seconds (from 5)
- Decreased Dazing Bellows Duration to 60 seconds (from 120)
- Increased Dazing Bellows Cooldown to 240 seconds (from 180)
- Increased Dazing Bellows Stamina Cost to 10 (from 5)
- Decreased Corpse Stealer Turn Buff to 10% (from 30%)
- Increased Stamina Cost of Wing Beat to 10 (from 2.5)
- Decreased Flock Mob Armor and Damage Buff to 7.5% (from 10%)
**Dev Note:** We have decreased Hatzegopteryx' bulk and damage output to compensate for its massive increase in performance against its peers following the turn and acceleration changes. Dazing Bellows was hit to decrease situations of groups of Hatzegopteryxs being used to stun lock players repeatedly from afar with Wing Beat. There will be adjustments to it in the future once the bug with ground Wing Beat's range is fixed.
**Suchomimus:**
- Increased Fast Swim and Dive Stamina Cost to 0.6 (from 0.4)
- Increased Muffled Roar Stamina Cost to 18 (from 10)
- Decreased Riptide Damage Buffs to 7.5% (from 10%)
- Decreased Parched Scales Stamina Recovery Buff to 32.5% (from 40%)
- Decreased Waterlogged Swim Speed Boost to 10% (from 20%)
- Decreased Waterlogged Dive Armor Boost to 20% (from 25%)
**Dev Note:** While Suchomimus is having an increase in performance underwater as was intended, we saw that it was performing too well. We've dialed it back somewhat to give breathing room to some of our other semi aquatics and aquatics. Parched Scales was adjusted slightly to make long distance pursuit Suchomimus into less mobile three slot characters not as strong.
Now that they fixed it, have a couple clips of baby Eos absolutely Destroying adults.
Neither clip is mine, they were shared on the Discord.
Issues.
## Known Database Issue
We just rolled out a fix, if you are still having it, give the game a restart.
## Xbox UI Issue
We adjusted the Xbox UI last patch to make it closer to edge of screen and more clean like other platforms. But it seems there is a problem with a lot of people's TVs setup that cut off the UI. We will revert it next patch and add a settings toggle or something.
Meeps most brazen Heist of all time! Stealing from The Mob in broad daylight!
So. Many. Chickens!
Valve's new Steam Machine preorders are up, and Alderon’s figuring out the level of priority for running Path of Titans on it. Let them know where you stand.
Matt put this poll up on Discord. Figured I’d make a copy here as well.
Rules Reminder
## Reminder: Do not discriminate against people based upon how much money they have and what platform they play on
Path of Titans is a cross platform game, on as many devices as possible to be accessible to people. People who are gatekeepers and make fun of or give abuse to people just because they play on a certain platform eg console or mobile isn't accepted in this discord server. Path of Titans is a positive game community.
The arguments on why the game is cross platform: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathoftitans/comments/1u4abjf/comment/ordqg5f/?context=3
The game is and will always be a cross platform game with modding and cross play.
The terms of this trade are nonnegotiable.
You may have your friend’s skull, but I’ll be reclaiming my teammate’s femur.
Haven’t had a good Rat Out Heist in a bit, and this was a pretty decently high stakes one. The smoothness was marred only by my hitting the wrong Call button first… I said I hadn’t done one in a bit!
Was a good multi sided fight though. Saw a Bars and started to follow them. Came across a Rex and Titan fighting a Pycno and Metri in the Flats. Bars charged into the fray against the Apexes. Kentro joined in. Metri died. Rex died, grabbed their skull. Don’t know where the Pycno ended up. Titan started to flee and the Herbivores gave chase. Bars tossed out some group calls and I accepted because I’d been clipped by a couple tail slams and those sting so I’d like to mitigate them (and it lets me keep an eye on where the Bars is and their health). Longish low speed chase thru BQL. Circled back to the Flats, where the Rex who’d died had returned. Second Titan shows up about the time I managed a kick to finish off the first one. We’re trying to kill that Rex again. Herbivores take a couple solid hits that cause most to back off. Rex finally lands a solid bite on me to evaporate 90% of my health so I back off. Now it’s the Bars being chased. Too low to help em, and too slow to grab their Trophy first. Well Titans are slow, so follow them back across to Flats and that’s where the video picks up. Fun fight for me, I’m getting decent again at throwing kicks against the AoE-less Apexes, but probably too long and slow to edit some 30 minutes of footage down.
Nintendo Switch 2 Update
## Nintendo Switch 2 Update
We've got some good news to share. Nintendo has granted us access to dev kits, which means we can now test Path of Titans on Switch 2 and work on fixing the crashing, freezing, and overall poor experience some of you have run into.
This is a big step forward. Until now, we had no way to address Switch 2 issues at all.
Once we receive the dev kits and get the game experience to a state we're comfortable with, we'll be able to relist Path of Titans for sale on Switch 2.
**A couple of other things to keep in mind:**
- We're still not able to build a dedicated Switch 2 version of the game, so graphical improvements and similar enhancements aren't on the table yet. That may change down the line if and when Nintendo opens that door for us.
- There are also no changes to update approval times at this stage. We know this is a pain point and we're still pushing on it, but realistically we don't expect to see movement there.
Thanks for your patience as we keep working to improve things.
