i was trying to add up the songs of epic: the musical to see how long the musical is, but when i checked the spotify playlist it lists a different number. I figure i must have got it wrong at some point but i can't work out where i made the mistake. focusing on the small screen is giving me a bit of a headache so i keep missing it when i look.

this isn't a serious issue just curious.

spotify says 2hrs 23minutes, my maths says 2hrs 6 minutes. and i got the times of the songs from spotify aswell, so i figure i messed up quite a bit. counting with time tends to get kinda confusing when doing it mentally and i was just doing it on notes.

i figure i cant use my phone calculator as it automatically adds to 100 not 60 like needed.

(character is interchangable but Harry is a classic and who i am thinking of while writing (plus i needed a guy for the scenario))

My idea is "True Veela can only be women". If you are born to a Veela (making you a half-veela) you still get some of the magic but don't have all the qualities Veela do. (Anyone could have a Veela Inheritance if it is in their bloodline but while both men and women can be part-Veela - or even full blooded Veela - with muted powers. True Veela have only ever been women. That's why the rumours say, "Veela are women" "Men can't be Veela", because the original information was about TRUE Veela.)

Now with this in mind, I was thinking a classic creature inheritance fanfic, where (Harry) get his inheritance but as he is a boy he only gains some aspects.

Turns out though, he's not actually a boy.

He figures out that the reason he has been so uncomfortable throughout the years, especially with puberty in it's midst, was because all this time He was actually a She.

So she's come to this realisation, and once she accepts herself, her magic accepts it too. And with that acceptance, comes a second inheritance, where she gains the True Veela Inheritance now that she is a female.

Obviously this is a shock because before she only had a mild allure that was very easy to control as it did barely anything unless she pushed it as well as some more instintual responses to things both physically and magically, but now she has suddenly come into a much stronger allure, wings, bird like instincts, power fluctuations (particularly with her spell casting).

And she also has to figure out how to control all these aspects with no warning.

This was a thought that i wanted to write down where others could see it, if anyone writes something for it let me know so i can read.

I might end up writing something for it, who knows?

where did i mess up? adding up song times (for fun) but the final number is different.
