Renting a flat in India just drains your energy and 💵

Reminds me of my own flat search experience. Tried all the online portals and still couldn't find anything useful. Finally had to go through a broker to get a place.

This is a funny reel. Also a sad reality.

Is Kollur [Hyderabad] worth it? Or just marketing hype

I've been seeing Kollur being heavily marketed by almost every builder lately.

There are so many new projects, and everyone seems to have a long list of reasons why the area is going to boom.

I'm trying to understand how much of it is actually backed by solid fundamentals and how much is just marketing.

Does Kollur genuinely have strong long-term potential, or is the hype ahead of reality?

Also, for someone investing today, is there still meaningful appreciation left, or have builders already priced in most of the future growth?

Would love to hear from people who know the area well or have been tracking it for a while.

Two workers fall to death after the safety belt fails.

Happened at an under-construction project in noida - ATS picturesque repreive.

The shuttering platform they were standing on collapsed and their safety belts failed.

Apartments worth crores and the workers who build them had to fall from the 37th floor. Human life has zero value in this country

Can we remove stray dogs from societies?

This is an incident from a few days back.

It's pure luck that nothing bad happened.

There are many strays in my society as well. Some feed them regularly and don't allow them to be moved anywhere.

Me personally is scared of these dogs. Cause I've been chased one time, and it was traumatic. Dogs don't behave the same with everyone.

But these animal lovers can't ever understand this.. is there any way to get them out?

I’m based out of Bangalore and was almost certain about buying a home here.

My parents would stay there, and I’d continue working in Bangalore.

But homes here are now very much expensive, living costs keep going up, traffic is getting worse, and I’m not even sure if my work will always be based here.

So I started exploring other options and came across this shift towards Mysore. It feels like a better fit in many ways. Parents can stay there, homes are more affordable, and daily expenses are lower. I can rent wherever work takes me, or even move there if remote work works out.

For anyone who has actually moved to Mysore recently, how has it been?

Does life feel better there?

And is anyone else here also considering buying in Mysore?
