5th Street Market

Am I the only person that hates the 5th Street Market area? I refuse to go anywhere inside there. I hate the traffic, I hate the parking, I hate the maze inside the building, I hate that I have to leave a restaurant in the middle of dinner to find a bathroom.

It's like the worst kind of hyper-expensive mall, with the layout of a dirt mall. Why is there a grocery store? Why do I have to take an elevator and walk across the oddly laid out building to find a bathroom that then requires a door code? Who the heck designed this place??

2026 Midori Hibino

In February I abandoned the dating system and started using as many (or as little) pages I wanted per day. I use the monthlies at the beginning for forward planning, then I cross out or cover up the dates on the daily pages and usually have a daily to-do list (labeled ta-dah! for funsies), a gratitude/glimmer list, and then I journal throughout the day. Every random thought and emotion is jotted down. What I did, what I ate, who I saw or talked to, how I felt. Sometimes a single line, sometimes several pages, depending on the day. It goes with me everywhere. It’s getting uncomfortable chunky to write in, but I want to use every page because there is SO MUCH cool stuff documented this year. Not to mention stickers, pictures, ticket stubs, letters, dice score sheets, recipes, notes, and post it’s from everyday life. I adore this little book.
