Self-addressed envelope for apostille?

I’m from the US and sent out my FBI background to DC to get the apostille but in the package I just included a normal envelope with 1 forever stamp. I didn’t use tracking or anything. I tried contacting the office of authentications twice and my state rep to see if this was okay with no responses so far.

Has anyone else done the same and were there any issues?

I’ll be at the 5 week mark this Friday and my visa appointment is at the end of the month.

Introverts, are y'all okay?

One of my good friends lives alone and as an introvert, she works 100% remote, gets her groceries delivered, and gets overwhelmed doing more than 1 social activity a week. She says she's happy living alone and doesn't see an issue, but she has also mentioned that she's severely anxious and depressed (medicated and has been in therapy for years).

This genuinely makes me wonder, introverts who live alone and stay inside the majority of the time, how do you think that impacts your happiness/mental health?

31F should I be contributing less to 401K?

I’ve worked at my current company (savings plan with $112K) for 3 years and I’m wondering if I’m actually contributing too much? Should I focus more on contributing to my individual account?

I have no debt and I have an emergency fund in a HYSA. The only thing I think I would want money for is maybe a down payment on a house in 5ish years? I’m currently single so I imagine I would be buying the house by myself.

Has anyone ever been hired by joining a “talent community”?

For context I’m applying for roles in biotech, but I think this question can be asked for all industries.

I would like to hear if anyone has had any recent success stories where you uploaded your resume to a company’s website to join their talent community for future consideration and you actually got contacted to apply for a job. There’s a lot of companies that I would love to work for, but may not have a specific position currently open. I think this was more lucrative back in the day but in the age of AI is it pointless?

Thanks!

Boston Consulate Spanish Background Check

I know this question gets asked a lot but I haven't seen any updated info specific to Boston.

Does anyone know if Boston BLS will accept the form that declares that you have no criminal background in Spain during your time living there for 6+ months in the last 5 years? I tried requesting a Spanish background check using the Cl@ve with no luck and also contacting both the Boston consulate and BLS with no answers.

Thanks so much!

What is the kink/BDSM scene like?

¡Hola a todos!
I’m planning to move to Valencia by the end of the year and was wondering what the kink scene is like in Valencia? I’m particularly interested in the shibari/rope community.

Any studio or event recommendations?

Thanks!

I’m moving to Barcelona in the fall and looking to attend a Spanish language school for a year on a student visa with the goal of becoming as fluent in Spanish as possible (currently at an A2 level).

I’m a 31F so although it would be fun to do some cultural activities, I’m not really looking to party with a bunch of 20 year olds on Erasmus (but good for them!).

Camino looks like a good option, but it’s on the pricier side, is it worth it for what I’m looking for?

Also not sure if I should prioritize a school that can assist with finding accommodation or if I should try finding a rental myself (which I know is extremely difficult in Barcelona right now).

I’ll be in Barcelona in a few weeks for fun, do you think it’s a good idea to contact the schools and see if they do tours?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
