Neural engineering

I’m really interested in the emerging field of Neural engineering and companies such as Neuralink and the Science Corp. I’m currently pursuing a bachelors of science in CS and Neuroscience but am not sure if that alone is enough for this field. Is neural engineering a career in which a PhD is required? I would love to get advice on how to break into this field and if there are any graduate programs, Mastere or PhD, y’all would recommend.

Roborics Minor Course Requirements

i am currently an x+cs major interested in getting a minor in robotics. I was looking through the requirements of taking 4 different courses (2 can be of my major) but all those courses seem to have hella prereqs. For example I would need to take a lot of ECE courses in order to be able to take Neural Engineering (ECE 474N). Do students who are accpeted into Robotics Minor get a special exception to disregard the prereqs and can take those courses with just the permission of the instructor or can I only take courses that do not have major restricted prereqs?

New to CS, how to best prepare for CS312

Just accepted a transfer to an x + CS program and will be taking cs courses starting next sem. I essentially have 0 background in cs and plan to take cs 312. What’s the best way to prepare in y’all’s opinions (I have basically 2 months to get caught up to speed and am currently js auditing Harvard’s cs50x and learning Java)?
