The US might just be up there with the worst countries of all time. For a supposedly “developed” nation that the entire population thinks to seem is #1 at everything, there are many factors that really make it one of the worse countries in the world, for residents and non-residents. Not even on a developed/developing/declining scale, like one of the worse ones overall. Besides oppression of most non-white Christian males (and especially LGBT and Black people), there is rampant global oppression and terror. Starting off with the internal issues. The US leads the world by far in school shootings and mass shootings. Residents seem to think they are so on top, when, in reality, most parents fear sending their kids to school every day in fear of them being executed by a fellow student. Somehow, the fascist police state currently occupying the country with their new mass surveillance programs can’t prevent these tragedies which are unimaginable in most developed and developing countries worldwide. They also have rampant poverty. While most developed (Europe, Oceania, East Asia, Canada) countries have a very small poor or homeless population, the US has a staggering 12% in poverty, or 41 million people, more than all of Canada. Also, go to any of their cities, which aren’t very pretty in the first place, and you will see homeless everywhere, with the police state somehow being able to do nothing about it. The crime is also astounding; 2 million are in prison, where slavery and inhumane treatment are fully legal. There are still gang wars, akin to something you’d see in the Middle East or Africa, both of which were war-mongered by, you guessed it, the US! There are rampant mass shootings, too. The country also was build on racism, genocide, and hatred. First there were the Natives, brutally killed and genocided. Then came the Mexicans and Chinese, the former of which were invaded and conquered to get the stolen land we now know of today. And all along, there were Black people, who are still heavily discriminated and hated upon today, now being forced into small areas of cities, which White citizens know as “ghettos” and “slums.” Instead of trying to do something about the poverty and forced terrible conditions, they just discriminate. They also have some of the worst healthcare in the world, with a simple ambulance ride or broken bone putting someone under crippling debt they can’t crawl back out of. Many poor people can’t even afford healthcare, and are left to put loans onto the backs of the next generation. And then there’s the pinnacle of all: their fascist, warmongering police state. Despite causing rampant, widespread global terror, they tie themselves to a tiny nation who commits genocides of their own. They have made a literal SS-style police force, targeting people based on skin color and accent, and beating them down and kidnapping them in the street. They shoot and kill innocent protestors, and have recently been ordered to start targeting LGBT people, who aren’t even said to exist by the government. They are destroying national monuments and heritage and slapping their dictator’s face on everything, all while creating a police state. The police state, with over 100k cameras, was implemented quietly all while making fun of China for doing the same thing, while actually using the cameras to do good. It is starkly similar to Nazi Germany was in the 1930’s. The US ways of life are awful too. The entire country is full of car-dependent suburbs with little to no public transportation. Countries like China, however, which are propagandized in and by the US to look awful, are thriving and excelling at public transport and walkability. After taking the 40 minute drive on 6-lane square roads, you arrive at a giant store that is full of dye-injected foods. Most US-used food products are heavily banned in the rest of the world, where food is better and cheaper. Also, there is no US food. Everything they claim, like hamburgers, were invented somewhere else (Germany in that case.) However, these fast foods and awful cuisines are being spread and forced around the world. This also poisons them into extreme obesity, diabetes, and heart disease rates like nowhere else on Earth. There is also the hustling and work culture. Compared to most other countries, people in the US are forced to work year round for 10+ hours a day in exhausting jobs. Maternity leave isn’t available until you give birth, then you have about a week until you have to work again. The entire ideology of the country is about money over happiness. The wealth inequality is insane, too. You have trillionaires like Elon Musk, while there are entire states and regions where poor, oppressed minorities live in falling apart shacks while starving and thirsty, like someplace in Africa (look up Mississippi Delta region.) The tap water isn’t even safe to drink, compared to every other developed nation on Earth. Then, there’s the global impact. The country contributes some of the worst pollution of any country in the world, and the worst per capita by far. They drill up the Earth and use oil and coal, while most countries have now switched to nuclear, solar, wind, or hydropower. This goes in with their obsession with cars; take China’s widespread EV usage and compare that to their car-centric gas usage. Their AC, which pampers them in their house in heat they complain about but most of the world could deal with easily, is some of the most electricity using things out there. Except for one thing: data centers. They are using and making so much AI that it will likely lead to a global collapse if they haven’t started a nuclear war by then. Their intelligence agency is a corrupt terror organization in disguise, worse than any Islamist group could ever be. They hide the secrets to the world and steal other countries’ extraterrestrial artifacts, while hiding it to fear monger while spreading conspiracy theories worldwide. The country is also full of war mongerers, considering half supports the genocides they are commiting in Africa and the Middle East. While China builds infrastructure and gives money to Africa, the US comes in and destroys it. They literally invaded a country and kidnapped its president, setting it off far worse than it was before. They also murdered another country’s president and violently bombed them. All of this while occupying Europe and most other countries (which don’t consent to having bases there) to “protect them from Russia.” They would help Ukraine if that’s what they really wanted to do. They murder and genocide all over the world for their own greed and enjoyment. They are also basically satellite states of Israel, letting them fully control everything they do. They do all of this while still calling themselves “Americans” as if the continent represents them. América is a beautiful continent tainted by the wasteland that is the US. They could be United Statesians, but that is like calling a Brit a “United Kingdomian.” So there is nothing. They are nothing. They are worth nothing. This greed was evident in Canada’s recent wildfires; despite annexation threats, Canada still sent troops to the US to help fight fires, while many of them died for it. However, the US showed their true colors (fake, greedy, and rude) by blaming Canada for their bad air quality as if the country wasn’t facing a huge crisis then, while sending exactly 0 firefighters to help. So that’s about it. One of the worst countries in the world, overall. There you go, the true American spirit: greedy, genocidal, and worth nothing.
