Like I feel in Indian cooking thats mostly innovatove sayoing that X isnt authemtic makes little snse at all

Sure there are cultural ideas behind dishes BUT CULTURE EVOLVES

Why is that oyur ancestors had the ability to modify their preferences spices and ingredients as per their wish potatoes chillies soya sauce all INCORPORATED. But when someone tries to do that the common consensus is to undermine him by saying THIS DISH ISNT MADE OF THIS OR DOENST CONTAIN THIS INGREDIENT

Sure lets be authentic, how long wouod you like to go. 500 yeras lets do 5000. Food cultures incorporate ingredients from all.around the world. Human cibvilizations rest on trade ans incorpoetaion of innovations

There is no single right way of making a cuisine as diverse as indian where the possibilities of mixing and matching if curries for veggies proteins etc is infinite

Unless someone calls a dish as authentic and it isnt it doesnt have to deminozed a sit kills innovation bringing the culinary history of India to a standstill

Like they literally impacted how Indians practised religion, culture trade and clothes etc.

Why are the Parthians, Kushans, Achamenids Indo Greeks, Alchons, Scythians never mentioned bit the ficus is always on either native Indian rulers or Islamo britishers?
