I remember my mom watching a movie sometime in the late 80’s, maybe very early 90’s. The main plot I remember involved a machine that could either resurrect someone or maybe grant immortality. The machine kind of looked like a giant 3d pin art toys you could find at Spencer’s gifts that they would lie down on. I think at some point a woman / main character love interest died and he used it on her over objections from his partner.

Does this some familiar to anyone? Thanks in advance
