I was watching a movie with my friend last year and we only got halfway through before I fell asleep. Opening scene is a brief look into each characters lives through the camera going from each apartment to the next- the city scene I think was drawn in, instead of being real. I remember one character in the intro is performing autofellatio right before his boyfriend gets home. ‘Bitch’ from the music duo ‘bitch and animal’ is in it. There’s a relationship counsellor who has never been fulfilled in her own sex life. I don’t really remember much more but I want to finish watching the movie and I don’t speak to this friend anymore. It’s killing me! Please help
Not sure if this a film, TV show or I dreamt it - I’ve been trying to find this film for years but I can’t remember much about it.
I would have watched it between 2000 and 2005 in the UK
- the film was English-language (possibly American?)
- I remember some evil humanoid boulders / rocks with faces who wanted to destroy or rule over a magical forest?
- There may have been fairies and/or anthropomorphic woodland creatures
- I think it was a similar animation style to Fern Gully but I think lower budget/older
r/whatisthatmovie In a movie about ebola or a very similar deadly virus, I recall a scene where people are digging up the graves of deceased victims in order to procure the virus for chemical warfare. I think they are from a certain country who has sent them to illegally obtain it for warfare. Anyone know the movie? Thank you.
i watched it around 2016 and it was like a coming-of-age movie, all i remember from it is that there were the characters on a beach/vacation and a lady worked at the hotel and he took a fancy into her and then it was learning about desires but when the movie was talking about sxxl things the screen would be of fruit being played with.. idk..
the movies that kind of remind me of this one im looking for is love, simon. or alex strange love but it’s a hetero movie 100% it is really similar to love rosie but i think its more about younger people
i’ve been trying to find this movie for literally months and cannot for the life of me remember anything else let alone the name so coming here to see if anyone else can help me?
Trying to identify a live-action movie or TV episode I saw as a kid (probably around 2012–2018, but the show/movie may be older).
Teen boy protagonist, serious tone (not colorful like Power Rangers). I think he had dormant powers that got activated somehow—possibly after being in a small spacecraft / exposure to solar radiation / cosmic energy, but this part may be fuzzy. The one scene I’m very sure about: a good-guy mentor figure shows the protagonist disasters happening around the world and reveals that monsters/aliens are responsible for them.
Live action, possibly aired on a kids/teen channel.
I watched this on TV when I was little (around 2007-2009). The characters were like muppet (or maybe not, the color of characters was similar); it was somewhat a very uncomfortable 2D drawing that I didn’t like a lot. The only clip I remembered was a man shot himself on the head with a gun in front of another man. Then the man returned home with blood, and the dead man appeared at this door, wearing all white, (probably he had a wing like angel) like a God-figure. I hope it’s not my childhood fantasy😅
Not for finding a movie I couldn't really find a subreddit where I can identify obsecure like really obsecure actors I want to know the name of this guy? He plays the role of Geli Raubal's Jewish lover in Vienna in the movie Die Nichte – Hitlers verbotene Liebe
Fernsehfilm I was watching on YouTube can Reddit help me find this actor?
so this is gonna be rough, I saw the ending of the movie when I was a kid 96-03. In the ending, all I remember is that the lead character is sitting in an armchair in what looks like a study in an 80s/90s mansion. across from him is another man who I’m pretty sure is his brother. The main character is dead and his brother is talking to him about how he died. It flashes back to the night of his death when him and his wife got into a fight. i think the wife killed him, but he also might have killed her. I’ve run this through chatgpt and none of the movies it spits out are it. I also think the plot of the movie involved him being in a psych ward but that could be wrong. Any ideas or did i just dream this up and trick myself into thinking it was real?
This has been driving me insane for years. I watched this on cable TV in the late 90s and barely remember the plot, but it involved a very small covert military unit carrying out some kind of infiltration operation behind enemy lines.
The team had maybe four or five members. One of them was a woman. They dressed in dark tactical gear and I strongly associate the movie with underwater operations, scuba gear, frogmen, Navy SEAL type stuff, though I can’t swear the entire movie was underwater related.
What stood out was how isolated the team felt. The movie mostly followed just them during the mission with very little outside contact or larger war context.
I’ve searched every obvious SEAL/frogmen movie I could find and still nothing. Hoping this sounds familiar to somebody.
I've been remembering an animated scene for a few years now, but never can remember more than this: It's a movie (or series) where townsfolk are chopping down trees, and animals are trying to do various things to get them to stop. The scene I remember strongest has birds blocking everyone's chimneys so they can't cook their lunches. The men decide to continue chopping trees despite not having a cooked meal for lunch, and specifically I remember one of the men telling his wife he'd just eat a piece of cheese.
All I know is it's not Ferngully or Once Upon a Forest. I cannot remember for certain or not if there are little people working with the animals.
Thank you u/Original_Ad3529 for pointing me in the right direction, it was Back to the Forest/Nodoka Mori no Dobutsu Daisakusen.
It was the 1980s, and I saw the movie on tv. Two sisters were in a car, but one couldn't get the seatbelt off and maybe died? The brother had tied the seatbelt so it wouldn't come off. Then strange things start happening that put the boy in danger. I want to say there was a frisbee on the roof. There was also maybe something about a lizard??
OKAY
This is going to sound like Signs or Nightmare on Elm St. 3 or The Frighteners but he swears it's none of those. All he can remember is being a little kid (1999-2002) and watching a scene where a hand is pressing through wallpaper like the wall is made of rubber but the hand never bursts through. Think Freddy pressing through the ceiling above Nancy's bed but NOT that. I'm desperate to find out what this movie is but I have never been able to find it. He keeps mentioning a long alien-esque figure and a farm house. But again, he's very adamant it's not any of the movies I've mentioned above.
HELP PLEASE
I’m looking for a TV horror movie I watched around 2015 on television.
The story was about a mother who gave birth to one little girl, but another baby/twin was aborted or died before birth. The spirit of the dead unborn girl started haunting the family and eventually possessed the living daughter.
There is a scene where the possessed girl talks to her mother while being controlled by the spirit. The ghost was not really evil — she seemed sad, lonely, and wanted comfort and safety.
Near the end, the spirit in the body of her sister goes to a waterfall to kill her sister too but the mother follows her to the waterfall and convinces her not to hurt or kill the living child then the spirit leaves the girl’s body after she told the mother she is always cold at night and asks the mother to leave the window open so she can come inside and sleep with them and feel safe and warm.
In the final scene, the mother leaves the window open, and the spirit comes back into the house like air/wind.
The girl in the movie was a child, not a teenager. The movie felt more emotional and supernatural than violent. It may have been a low-budget TV movie, possibly American, Canadian, or European.
Could also be a tv show. I know I know this, but cannot place it. Like I’ve seen it before! Help! Hahah
Hi everyone!
I’ve been looking for a movie I saw on Gulli (a French TV channel) about 10 or 15 years ago. I have a pretty clear memory of it, but I just can’t find it! So I’m going to give a bit of a spoiler in the hope of finding it. The story takes place in a high school, and the main character is a high school student. One day, without understanding what’s happening to him, he discovers he has the ability to make food appear in his hands (incredible, isn’t it?). At first, he hides it from everyone but can’t control this power. For example, he ends up accidentally starting a food fight in the cafeteria by shooting food from his hand at a classmate. I think there’s a similar scene in a music room (?). He eventually tells a family member (his grandfather or grandmother) about it, who tells him it’s a hereditary gift and, at the same time, makes an apple appear in his hand (wow). From there, he tries to control his power, and spoiler alert, he succeeds.
This phrase has been in my head for years. It's from a film, describing a solar eclipse.
The phrase is repeated a lot of times during the film so it stuck with me.
The film was quite scary and the hero was a barbarian-type guy. I caught the film on TV during the mid-80s when I was about 6 years old, and it gave me nightmares.
Hello! I'm trying to find a drama movie I watched this year, but the movie is old, probably I would say from the 90s. Its about a blonde woman who was hit by a vehicle (I think on her wedding day) and was into coma for many years .When she finally wakes up her brother and his family start taking care of her. She is not mentally well, she can't recover but she is not a bad character. Her ex fiance was already married for another woman, expecting a baby, but sometimes she behaved like they are still together. I remember she was with her niece in a boat and the boat flipped, the woman kept holding her niece under the water because she was afraid that she can't swim and she panicked and she accidentally drowned her. At the end of the movie, they put her in a cage at the back of a pickup truck I think, and together with her brother they left the town, and while they were leaving everybody was turning heads to watch after them. They went into a forest or a field and he shoots his sister. There was another young girl. At the beginning of the movie, she was in a bus and she witnessed a murder from the window. Her family decided to send her living for the summer on a quiet place with this family too(I don't know how are they realted) She became a friend with the drowned girl. Latest when the brother intends to leave the town with his sister this girl wanted to go with them too but he sadly refused
This is a movie from the early 2000s. I can't remember because I watched it as a kid, but what I remember is that a character who could control the moving shoes himself used it to make shoes and board stairs and i guess i watched the movie when i was 7years old
I use translator
