Does ANYONE remember a movie like this?
I cannot remember this stupid movie...
I saw it in the early 00s, likely lower budget.
There was this buried crate on a beach. Some people found it and argued about it a little, some guy took a ton of bullets while running (seriously like a dozen center mass shots, definitely was not supernatural, was just a guy) towards the end of this scene.
The box later was taken into some room, and these people would sit in the room with it maybe to guard it or watch it.
The only scene I remember vividly is there was some creature in the box that eventually revealed itself, in that room, with some guy.
It was feeding him paranoid thoughts or something, to turn against some people, maybe the rest of the group.
I just remember repetition of that guy angrily yelling "FUCK THEM!", crying in the next scene, repeating in slightly different contexts - Dad stopped it there as I was between 7 and 11 at the time of watching.
