Our lease is coming to an end. 4 weeks before end of lease we receive a notice they are increasing rent $100 a week. We have been given 2 weeks to accept or else we must leave at end of lease. Happy to look at cheaper properties, however with only 2 weeks notice to accept, it's a bit tricky to find one for the date we need. If we had known they were raising it such an excessive amount earlier we would've started looking sooner. Just wondering if we have any options here?
