I’m a Year 12 student. A leaked copy of an NCEA internal assessment was passed around before the test. I received it from another student and forwarded it to one other student. The school discovered the leak before the assessment and changed the version we actually sat. They’re now investigating how the leak spread. The person I sent it to is apparently getting questioned tomorrow, and they told me they’re going to tell the truth that I sent it to them, so I’m likely to get called up next. Should I deny or tell the truth and snitch on the original guy? What kinds of consequences are typical in situations like this?
