Can any seniors suggest me best laptop which can fulfill full cse curriculum and also tell me which laptop are they using

Which is more secure for future .my uncle is forcing me to join iit ropar .Tell me seniors how hard is to compete with cs students for tech jobs as electrical student as it is academically hard .Does anybody had some options at the time of joining .Do you regret of joining a particular college and why .?
