First timer - Need recommendations

Almost done with my first legitimate setup!

A few questions:

  1. What do you think? I’m very happy with it, but always open to feedback! First time ever posting, long-time lurker.
  2. What’s best to support my center channel? I’m thinking a heady duty floating shelf.
  3. One side of my room is open (past columns) and it creates nulls/peaks for sub. Any suggestions? Curtain? Free standing acoustic panel?
  4. My surrounds are way lower quality than my other speakers. Will it make a noticeable difference to update to something like Polk ES10s or the SVS Prime Satellites?
