Well all good things must come to an end…

I decided to do one last big TWR layout on my carport before I leave for College. This one was by far one of my favorite layouts I’ve built over the past couple of years. I’ve already taken it down and packed everything away but I’m looking forward to building a new one next year!

How much do you think track is worth?

I’m going through and adding up all of my Thomas Wooden Railway stuff because I’m curious how much it’s worth. However, I’m not sure how I should add up different kinds of track. I was originally going to do $1 per piece of track but then maybe count switches as like $2. If there is some kind of metric that you guys use to calculate how much your track to worth or you think I should count it differently please let me know.

Should I paint buffer beams in my engines

So I have been rolling around the idea of painting buffer beams on my engines. On one hand, I have zero intention of ever getting rid of my trains so I’m not worried about it hurting their resell value and I think it would be a fun addition. But then on the other hand, part of me doesn’t want to “damage” them, especially considering it’s very likely we will never get new wooden railway products. So what to you guys think of custom painted buffer beams and whether or not I should do it?

How much should I charge for this crochet koozie/drink mitt?

I’m going to college soon so I’m trying to make some extra money while trying to use up some of my yarn. This is the first one I made but I wasn’t sure how I should price it. It took me about an hour and a half of work so I was thinking $10. I can’t tell if that’s too much so let me know what you guys think.

I need help finding an old video

So me and this guy have been trying to find this old wooden railway layout video but we are having no luck. However we can remember a bunch of details so if anyone knows where we can find this video, that would be amazing!

Here is a list of details we can remember
- It was a father and son building the layout with the dad behind camera filming.
- The kid really liked Rheneas and Skarloey as they were the main trains he played with.
- Part of the layout went onto the couch and that was the narrow gauge section of the layout. I remember they used this spiral gray mountain that I think was made by Brio. They also used boulder mountain.
- The video wasn’t a layout tour so to speak but instead the dad would film updates about the progress of the layout.
- it was a fairly big layout with it covering most of the floor in the room they built it in but it wasn’t super dense.
- The son also added a Lego police station to the layout but I have no idea what Lego set it was from.
- In a later video they posted, they did a story where Sodor was hit by a tornado and they messed up parts of the layout. But in the end it was fixed.

If anyone knows where we can find this video or has anymore information about it, that would be greatly appreciated!

Okay I just thought of a plot-hole and I need someone to tell if I’m just missing something. So we know that the people of Ishigami Village and Treasure Island are the descendants of the six astronauts on the ISS. So there have been people walking around unpetrified for 3700 years. Then in season four we learned that Why-man dropped thousands if not millions of Medusas to keep petrifying the whole planet. So then how the hell have there been people walking around even though Why-man kept sending Medusas. Did all those attacks just not reach Japan? I may just be missing something that explains this so can someone please tell me if it explained somewhere how this makes sense?
