What batch should I look for? (AF1, SB Dunks)

Hey everyone, I’m just getting into reps and I’m honestly pretty overwhelmed by all the different sellers, batches, colorways, etc. After doing some Googling, I found this subreddit and figured I’d ask people who know a lot more about this than I do.

I’m looking for my first pair and have a pretty low budget, around 250 RMB for the shoes themselves. I’m mainly looking for SB Dunks or AF1s since they’ll be my beaters/daily shoes.

Ideally, I’d like something with a white/black base + 1–2 additional colors. I’m not really interested in the basic Triple Black, Triple White, or Supreme colorways. I’d prefer something a little more unique/limited, or at least a colorway that you don’t see everywhere and on everyone.

So far, I’ve been looking at VT Batch for SB Dunks, HY Batch for AF1s, and PB Batch (only for 1 pair of AF1's). Are these good choices within my budget, or are there other batches/colorways I should be looking into?

Also, when buying reps, what are the main things I should look for in terms of quality, materials, accuracy, and durability? Since this is my first order, I’d really appreciate any advice on what to avoid and what’s worth prioritizing at this price point.

Thanks in advance!

(Adding to that, the text has been enchanced with ChatGPT as my english is not great and with the whole post being bit longer I prefer it comfortable to read and understand than fully human-writen)

EDIT: Bought VT SB Dunks Low Black Pigeon from TMF. We'll see!

Is this okay for chill BFS?

Hello, I really, really want to try out BFS.

But I want to get it more of as a second rod, so I thought about looking at the rod and reel on AliExpress (I heard before if you look right, you can get some nice things), and I thought, why not? After looking for some time, I found a rod and a reel, and these are my choices: Seasir ZERO-VX 133g and HANDING Magic L Casting 1.68m UL (CW 1-4 g, weight of rod 82 g).
Do you guys think it will be okay for a first BFS (as a second rod overall), or are there some better alternatives?
Just to make it easier for suggestions, I am from the EU, so any US shops won't really work.
