Using pulmonologist on medical certificate?

My PCP doesn’t have a medical center stamp, but my pulmonologist does and agreed to fill out the medical certificate template for me. Does anyone know if this matters? He’s an MD, so it’s technically signed by an MD and not an NP or anything. But the stamp and the letterhead do specify that it’s the Pulmonary and Critical Care office. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? I’m going to NYC consulate if it makes a difference.

What happens if you need additional documents? NYC Consulate

I was hoping someone could help me understand the process of what happens if you end up needing additional documents at your visa appointment. I’ve been seeing many different things on the BLS website, residency2spain website, and just by conversation on here and in facebook groups. I was planning to just follow the BLS website, since that should be the official list of what I need. However, the website doesn’t say anything about getting a notarized copy of your passport. I ended up seeing someone mention something about needing it, so I emailed to confirm and they told me that I do need to get the copy notarized. Which is fine, but needless to say I’m just feeling like I’m going to end up missing a document. I’m going to the NYC consulate, but live 5 hours away and work full time so I’m not able to just go back home, get a new document and go back for another appointment the next day. If I don’t have something, will they allow me to submit extra documents over email? Even for an extra printing charge. Or will my appointment be completely disregarded and I’ll have to make a new one? I’m also not able to get in until a week before the 2 month cut off date, so I’m also concerned about having to come back and then risking the possibility of missing the 2 month in advance requirement. If anyone has any knowledge or experience with the NYC consulate I would greatly appreciate it!

Canary Islands Placements/Groupchats?

I just received my Canary Islands placement yesterday and was wondering if there was anyone else who did or anyone who has some advice! I applied with a friend who got a different placement, so I’m a little worried about cost of living and am hoping to find a roommate, but I haven’t heard of anyone who got Canaries placements yet this year. I know the placements there were also limited so I’m nervous that there may not be many auxes to socialize/potentially live with. I haven’t received my carta yet, so I have zero idea which island I’ll even be on, but I believe it will be Tenerife as that’s what it currently says on my portal (could change of course). But I wanted to put a feeler out there just to help me decide if I’ll accept the placement this year. Is there a group chat for it yet? Any advice or just personal experiences are very appreciated!!

For those wondering, the Canary Islands were my second preference and my inscrita is 25985.

Experience in Children’s Care Attendant role?

Just had an interview for this position. Seems to be interesting, but wondering what anyone’s experience is like in this role or just at the hospital in general?

Best Island/City for young people?

I just got accepted into a Nalcap placement in the Canary Islands. Not sure if I’ll really get a say in which island I’m placed on, but if so I would love some advice on which one to pick! For context, I’m a woman, early 20s. My biggest concern is meeting people my age and having fun. I do like to go out, so that’s a plus, but I don’t necessarily need to be in a place where nightlife is the biggest thing there. However, I don’t want to be in a city where it’s very far and few between. I’m also American and don’t speak any Spanish. I’m absolutely trying to learn and want to be immersed in authentic Spanish culture, but I definitely would like a good mix of tourism just for the purpose of being able to communicate and make friends easier. Additionally if anyone has any other advice please let me know!!

Spain Auxiliaries?

I’m in the r/SpainAuxiliaries subreddit but wanted to know if there was any other similar ones. I can’t post in that one because I don’t have enough karrma but I have some questions I wanted to ask!
