That New Fresh Feeling!!

That New Fresh Feeling!!

Just an FYI, this is my personal opinion. I'm just going off of what I feel, and I'm not a professional driver on GT7. I don't have a steering wheel; I use the GamePad, but I still have a blast with this game.

I can definitely feel a huge difference in the physics model with Update 1.71, and honestly, it’s amazing. I’ve been racing the Weekend Challenge — the 600 PP Tokyo Express race — and I’ve been trying to find the right car for it. Usually, if I can tell pretty quickly that a car just isn’t going to be competitive, I’ll quit the race and start looking for something else.

But this time was completely different. I could actually feel the difference in the physics. It’s hard to explain, but the entire game feels different to me — almost like playing a new game.

And the new tire simulation is absolutely incredible. I literally went 12 laps without having to pit, even with the tire wear set to ×14! I was honestly shocked.

I’m not always the best at putting these things into words, but all I can say is that I’m genuinely blown away. The game feels so much better now. It really needed a change to the physics, and Polyphony absolutely delivered with this update.

You just have to experience it for yourself to understand what I mean. GT7 feels better than it ever has.

Are you excited for this update?

I’ve always been into cars like Honda Civic and Accord coupes and sedans that have that classic Fast & Furious vibe, along with Volkswagen Jettas. I’m also really into 3rd-generation Camaros and Trans Ams, especially cars like the Firehawk. Basically, I’m drawn to the kinds of cars that everyday people could realistically buy and then customize, modify, and soup up to make their own. I guess 2 of these cars could be like that...Whats your thoughts on this update?
