Hi everyone!

A few years ago I scraped up the rear passenger side door and the panel behind it. Dumb mistake, completely my fault.

I’ve neglected doing something about it, but now as the rust is starting to form, I feel that I need to prevent it from getting worse.

What might be an affordable way to prevent this from causing further damage, and potentially improve the aesthetics of it? I don’t think it’s worth it to replace the panels, but I’m not entirely sure what other options exist.

Any DIY resources or advice on what to ask for at an autobody shop would be appreciated. I’m in Vancouver, BC if that helps.
