PSA: all Airbnb’s in Taiwan are illegal
Or at least 99% of them are.
So be aware when booking one. You will be told by your host: don’t speak to anyone and don’t tell anyone it’s an Airbnb and you will have to sneak around like a thief.
I was even told to not linger around the front entrance and quickly leave with my luggage, lest anyone ask me questions.
