6-Hour Layover at Incheon T1 — Best Korean Beauty Spots? 🇰🇷✨

Hi everyone! I’ll be transiting through Incheon Airport (Terminal 1) on my way from LA to Japan, and I’ll have around a 6-hour layover.

Since I’ll be in Korea for a few hours, I really want to take advantage of the opportunity to shop for Korean skincare and beauty products! 🧴✨

For those familiar with Incheon Airport T1, I’d love your recommendations:
What are the best K-beauty/skincare stores inside Terminal 1?
Are there any must-buy Korean skincare or beauty products that are especially worth getting at the airport?
Are there any good Korean beauty brands that I might not easily find in Japan?
Is airport duty-free shopping actually worth it for K-beauty, or would I be better off shopping in Seoul?
Are there any hidden gems or underrated products I should look out for?
With a 6-hour layover, do I have enough time to browse the beauty shops comfortably?

I’m especially interested in skincare, masks, serums, sunscreens, and anything that’s genuinely worth trying rather than just touristy/popular products.

Would love to hear your favorite K-beauty recommendations! 🥰🇰🇷

Incheon Airport T1: Best Things to Do During a 6-Hour Layover

Hi guys! 😊 I’ll be transiting from LA to Incheon Airport (Terminal 1) on my way to Japan, and I’ll have approximately a 6-hour layover.

I’m wondering what you’d recommend doing at Terminal 1 while I wait for my connecting flight. I’d also love to grab some Korean snacks, beauty care, souvenirs, or anything that’s worth picking up before leaving Korea.

For anyone who’s had a longer layover at Incheon:
What are your favorite things to do at Terminal 1?
Are there any good Korean snacks or products that you’d recommend buying?
Is there anything unique at Incheon Airport that I shouldn’t miss?
Are there any free facilities, lounges, showers, or relaxation areas worth checking out?
With a 6-hour layover, is there enough time to comfortably explore the terminal without worrying about missing my flight?

Would love to hear your recommendations! Thank you! 🥰✈️

Am I being unreasonable about an Instagram post, or are there bigger issues in my long-distance relationship?

I’m (26F) in a long-distance relationship and I’m looking for genuinely honest outside opinions because after an argument with my boyfriend (32M), I’m starting to question whether I’m being unreasonable or whether there are bigger problems in our relationship.

We recently argued because I made a photo collage from my day and posted it on Instagram. Making these collages is something I genuinely enjoy. It’s kind of like a digital diary for me, and I like documenting little moments from my life.

I didn’t send the exact collage to my boyfriend before posting it, and he got upset because he felt like I was prioritizing social media over him. I did send him some pictures from my day and told him about what I was doing. I just didn’t send him every single photo or the finished collage before posting it.

We follow each other on Instagram, so I honestly thought it was normal for him to see some parts of my life through my posts and stories. I’m not hiding anything from him. He has also told me before that I shouldn’t change who I am just because of him, so I’m trying to follow that advice. I don’t want to stop doing something I enjoy just because he feels like he should have seen it first.

I can understand why he might have wanted to feel prioritized, and maybe I could have handled that part differently. But I don’t understand why posting something publicly means I value social media more than him.
There are also bigger things bothering me about our long-distance relationship.

We live very far apart. I’ve already visited him once, and getting there took around 10–14 hours of travel and was expensive. Before I visited him, I suggested that if we wanted this relationship to work long-term, we could take turns visiting each other, for example, I visit him one year, then he visits me the next year, and continue taking turns.
But that hasn’t happened.

He still hasn’t come to visit me. He says he wants to go back to his home country first before coming to see me, which I can understand to an extent because he hasn’t been back there since he left. But at the same time, I don’t see him actually making plans or taking steps toward going back home either.

That’s what confuses me. I don’t necessarily expect him to drop everything and immediately fly to see me. I understand that international travel is expensive and complicated. But I feel like there should at least be some kind of effort or plan eventually.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder: Does he actually want to visit me? Does he see a future where we both make the effort to maintain this relationship, or am I the only one trying to make that happen?

I also want more quality time together. Things like watching a movie together, talking, or just intentionally spending time with each other. Sometimes I feel like other things take priority, and that makes me question whether we’re putting the same amount of effort into this relationship.

The Instagram argument has made all of these feelings come back up, and now I’m questioning myself. I feel like I’m constantly doing something wrong or having to prove that I care about him.

I’m not looking for people to automatically tell me that my boyfriend is toxic or that I should break up with him. I genuinely want to know if I’m missing something. Maybe I'm the toxic one.

Am I being unreasonable? Is it normal to expect more effort toward visiting each other in a long-distance relationship? And regarding the Instagram situation, was I actually wrong for not showing him the photos first?

I’d really appreciate honest opinions, including if you think I’m contributing to the problem.
