Looking to Connect with TU Berlin PEESE Students (Winter 2026)

Hi everyone!

Has anyone here received admission to TU Berlin for the **M.Sc. Process Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering (PEESE)**program for Winter 2026?

I'm from India and have accepted my admission. It would be great to connect with fellow students so we can help each other with:
Enrollment process

Accommodation search

Visa process

Blocked account & health insurance

Travel planning

WhatsApp group (if any)

General preparation before moving to Berlin

If you've been admitted to PEESE or are planning to join TU Berlin this year, please comment below or send me a DM. Let's connect and support each other throughout the process!

Thanks!

TU Berlin (Process Energy & Environmental Systems Engineering) vs TU Dortmund (Process Systems Engineering) – Which would you choose and why?

Hi everyone,

I have an admission offer from TU Berlin – Process Energy & Environmental Systems Engineering (PEESE) and I’m waiting for a decision from TU Dortmund – Process Systems Engineering (PSE).

My background:

B.E. Chemical Engineering

~2 years of industry experience

Open to both energy and process systems fields
I’m not looking for generic advice like “follow your interest.”

I want to know which option is stronger overall based on:

  1. University reputation
  2. Job opportunities in Germany and worldwide
  3. Industry connections
  4. Research quality
  5. Internship/thesis opportunities
  6. City life (Berlin vs Dortmund)
  7. Cost of living
  8. Long-term career growth

If you had both options, which one would you choose and why?

Thanks in advance!
