Afternoon all. We inherited a windows based sever and workstation when setting up our business from a company we took over from.
The sever is primarily used for an sql database (awaiting final confirmation of if it appear to be doing anything else), & the workstation is used for some fairly unique applications, who are no longer active, companies are closed etc etc.
I the sever is running a raid 1 configuration at present. The workstation has only 1 HDD present.
I’d really like to be able to take the hard drives, from the server and the workstation, migrate them to new HDD’s and install into one new singular machine to allowed continued use of the applications we currently use.
Before I get to carried away is this possible to achieve and if so, how best to go about it?
