Is there an easy way to check HPD violations on an apartment before signing?
Moving to Brooklyn next month and want to make sure I'm not walking into a building with a bunch of open violations. I know HPD has a website but it's kind of clunky.
Curious if people check eviction history on landlords — seems like something you'd want to know.
