I have a project that requires me to paint on tiles, and I'd like to know if there's a way I can do it with oil paints. If the tiles are glossy, could I simply prime them with clear gesso and paint over them?

Lately I've noticed that the glass jars I use for solvent have a sticky base and walls inside, and it traps the pigment too. It's very subtle, but it's noticeable when I run my brushes over it, and I can't get it clean. Is it because I'm using Liquin? What am I doing wrong?
