My brother-in-law has a Mercedes-Benz W124 E420 (279 hp), and we’re running into a problem finding wheels that look like AMG Monoblocks and actually fit the car.

Because it has the V8, it came with the larger brakes from the 500E, but it does NOT have the wider fenders of the 500E. That makes it really difficult to find wheels that both clear the brakes and don’t stick out too far.

So my question to the community is: does anyone here own a W124 E420 or have experience with this issue? Does anyone know which wheel sizes and offsets work, especially if you’re trying to run a Monoblock-style setup?

We’ve been stuck on this for about a year now and can’t seem to find a proper solution.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
