The Knot in Meereen is already settled, right? (spoilers extended)

I just re-read ADWD, and I think GRRM has pretty much prepared the solution for Meereen, right? So it shouldn't be hard for him to advance to Westeros in the next book.

Yunkai is pretty much defeated already, they just didn't know it.

Ser Barristan is leading the Unsullied and the main forces to hit Yunkai directly.

And then Victarion is there attacking their flanks (causing panic)

Tyrion is luring the Second Sons to betray Yunkai.

The Harpy is most likely Green Grace, as many readers suspect. Hizdahr is just a pawn. (Wouldn't it be interesting if Pretty Meris dealt with her?)

And then Daenerys will make her glorious return, spurn Victarion, and go back to the West with Tyrion and Barristan.

I hope Ser Barristan will survive. I don't like the TV series adaptation 😞

Maybe it has been discussed before, but clearly Tyrion prefers to go back home to Westeros instead of going to Meereen. That's why he advised Aegon to sail west.

His advice is quite solid actually. Westeros is messy, and it's better for Aegon to wait Daenerys there. But I don't think it's not without some self-interest (read: to spite Cersei).

Ps: If Aegon isn't coming to Meereen, isn't he then breaking the mummer's dragon part of prophecy? Which means he is indeed...

I've been re-reading the books. It's so fun and I clearly forgot some details, but I thought the books wouldn't surprise me anymore. (I'm wrong.... Lame Lothar, I totally forgot about him, really surprises me....)

Anyway, I've just started the Dance again, and I just know Reznak is lying about the Sons of Harpy. When he accused the Sons of Harpy as the "baseborn filth", it simply did not make any sense.

Why would commoners target Daenerys? They're literally freed by her. It's clear the rich families are directing the Harpy against them, that's why Reznak was wailing at Shavepate's cold-blooded plan.

It's just Daenerys is simply having no good advisors (as foreshadowed by Barristan). Anyone in Westeros could see that Reznak is lying. Tyrion, Jaime, Cersei, Olenna, Littlefinger, even Catelyn could see.

So, Reznak is lying and whoever arresting him rn is doing Daenerys a favour.
